Today's Office: The Public Hotel, located in Lower East Side Manhattan!
Welcome to #OOTD and no, I am not talking about outfits! With working from home being the new norm, it can get old to actually .. work from home. Follow this blog and my new social media pages on Instagram & TikTok to find the best #OOTD - Office of The Day; that will help switch up your work environment!
Hi! I'm Michelle, owner of More Cheese Please NJ! There is nothing I love more than finding new cute & aesthetic cafe's to do work from, so I have decided to create a space where I will be reviewing various cafe's within the New Jersey and New York City area.
Today, we are working at The Public Hotel.
As always, let's start with the interior design! The lobby in this hotel has the perfect ambiance to work in! With plenty seating, including cozy couches, you will surely find a place to be productive. The warm lighting creates a very zen atmosphere, truly enhancing a calm work space. (@ my insta girls, there are SO many photo ops for you!) In addition, there is free WiFi (no password) and plenty of outlets to stay charged up.
Moving on to food & drink. For my people who like to take the edge off, they serve alcohol!!! I did not indulge in an alcoholic beverage, but it was cool to know I had the option. With a gorgeous bar in the seating area, it was hard to resist! Although I did not indulge in their bar menu, I for sure treated myself to some food from their downstairs cafe! I ordered the spicy salami pizza & one of my all time fave drinks - maracuyá refresher! The pizza was a 10/10. The fact that the pizza is made on focaccia bread should speak for itself - super filling and delicious. Now, I was skeptical about ordering the maracuyá considering it is easy to mess up. For those who do not know this flavor, it is Spanish for passion fruit! Sometimes people make it too bitter to enjoy, but they NAILED it! I 100% recommend ordering this drink if you visit!
All in all, great vibes here at The Public Hotel. As far as parking, there is plenty of free street parking surrounding the hotel. I found parking pretty quickly and it was only a 7 minute walk away. This is an #ootd I will be talking about for a while. It is truly the epitome of a perfect work environment! Be sure to give them a visit and let me know how your experience goes!
